07/07/2008: "happy summer time"
mucc - librabored
Happy late 4th of July to you all
I had a fairly eventful holiday that included some BBQ's, geocaching, playing video games, getting rained on while trying to do fireworks, and some more BBQ. Honestly if I were to play out my events it would be rather long and boring because I don't have the "make exciting paragraph" skill. However I will say that I enjoyed geocaching at the lake on Saturday. One of the geocaches was a a rubber rat!
Geocaching can be explained at their website if you haven't yet heard about how amazing and fun it is. Geocaching sends you out and about in the city, woods, and neighborhoods in just about any country with coordinates you place into your GPS system to locate a "cache" where other people have hidden in water proof cases of all sizes all sorts of random objects. You take an object if you like, and replace with something else. It's such a healthy hobby! We usually do the ones out in the woods. I tend to feel silly trying to find the ones in the city, because everyone stares at the silly people prodding around a certain place for ten minutes or so. There's one in a tree in downtown Raleigh that continues to stump us. Oh..hoo no pun intended.
I found this weird flower!
