08/18/2008: "last minute concert and visiting home"

Friday night I got home from work late, of course, and scrambled to get ready and head out to Chapel Hill to see The Faint play! It was actually a really late planned show - since I hadn't been checking tour dates for bands lately so I didn't know they were playing until.... about 4 days before hand So I rushed and got there in time to jump in line right before the doors opened, and when I got inside I realized that I forgot my camera! For the first time ever, I forgot my camera... And it was such a GOOD SHOW! Waaaah, I am still sad... but I have the front row memoriiiies. Picked up a shirt and their new album.

Tomorrow morning I'm heading off to visit my family, yay! Aah, I miss beautiful Pennsylvania. The mountains, the wildlife, the scenery and waterfalls! Maybe I'll get to visit some friends too. My mom and I plan to go kayaking a lot - and maybe a hike or two.
I'll return to NC on the 25th and Andrew will freaking...finally.. be HOME. I grew so utterly tired of his absence very quickly. I swear if I hear that he has to go back to Taiwan again next summer to finish learning mandarin.... I'll...throw a tantrum like a small child
I have a surprise for him, but really he should be the one with surprises for me.. like lots of goodies from Taiwan - but I'm pretty sure the only thing he got for me is an action figure and an art book.... more angry face

I still have some packing to do! I leave you with a wintery picture, even though it is summer time! {I miss winter}
