If they are GOOD. This one wasn't. Andrew and I went to Mythos in hopes of some really delicious Mediterranean food. We weren't impressed, especially for how fancy smancy it looked... and the prices... We did have delicious chocolate truffle dessert though!

This week has been pretty dull... I had Monday off because my boss's daughter became ill and had to go to the hospital. I tried to be productive on my day off but I just didn't want to! Instead I sat around and played video games all day and drew and came up with some costumes for the Ren Faire which starts .... tomorrow and I don't have the costumes made yet, AAH!

Brilliant games are due for a comeback!

Okami returns for the Wii! I love this game, but I had a slightly hard time drawing everything with the analog sticks. This is a perfect Wii game Drawing will be done with the Wiimote, while controlling the characters will be with the nunchuk. Actually I've always disliked holding two separate things to play Wii games, but drawing will be much easier! Comes out next month, can't wait!


So tomorrow is Easter, which I only just found out , why is it in March? How do you change a Biblical date? Last year I made it home for Easter so I figured I wouldn't be able to make it this year. I'll switch off holidays every year for going home and staying here, except I have to go home every Christmas

I never quite understood why spring time made everyone jump into cleaning mode. I haven't really, but I have rearranged some things and got a dresser! I've been without a real dresser for almost two years now... been using those awful plastic drawers that sag under pressure.
Anywhoo, I received some goodies! Cute little bunny pocket shirt and a Totoro bento from Andrew

Rain, rain, go away, come back some other day!

Yes, it was a rainy Friday off from work. Somehow Andy and I mustered up the will to get out of the warm bed and go out into that cold rain. We headed to Carmel Mall, which is roughly 45 minutes away... when it's not storming. I really didn't want to go..because I didn't want to spend lots of money and get my feet all wet
So of course I spent my precious money on useless, but cute items. I need to manage my money better...and stop shopping online and in malls..
The first things I saw that I wanted, Andy told me to wait and shop more first.

So when we walked into Wootini I knew I wouldn't be going back to get those amazing stuffed animals.. For myself I purchased
Tokidoki items, a zipit, adoorable magnets and an interesting shirt. I have such a hard time constraining myself from making ridiculous/unnecessary purchases.

Proceeding the mall adventure I spent more money on kahlua and baileys to make mudslides at a friends party in which we played Rockband all night. I wish you could put your favorite songs on Rockband!

The following day our friend calls us up and tells us to go to the midnight opening for Smash Bros Brawl because he is working that shift and there will be a tournament. Man, I can't play Super Smash Bros! I wouldn't dare enter their tournament So we went anyways! We arrived and kids were swarming the outside of the store, yelling/screaming/flailing/ at the people inside playing in the tournament. I didn't know people love Smash Bros THAT much...

.. I am such a boring storyteller! I apologize for not having any explosions, car races, rockets, or kangaroos...

spring forward! warm weather is on its way

The past few days have had gorgeously perfect tempurate weather. That comfortable 68-71 F degree range. So I picked back up jogging, which is obviously hard to just pick back up since I haven't really been doing much activity all winter Fortunately there is a greenway behind my apartment. Greenways are paved trailways here, and I just walk out my door and behind the building and there is the trail and woods! There is a gym here too... but it's so tiny and the walls are all mirrors and too warm..I have a hard time going to a super tiny room and working out by myself. There's always that one person that's on the equipment that you want to use. I've also been cutting calories, which is just too hard because I love sweets!
Moving on, I randomly got this friday off of work! So Andy and I had planned to go camping, but now the weather says that it is going to be icky and cold this weekend Any suggestions for a rainy Friday?
