Eisley Show and other bands

kiyoshida yoshida - flowers
antsy

I have some adorable items up for sale that need to go to new home! I also am in need of some extra money for my trip to New York City next month, so I had some motivation to put items up for sale. They are in brand new and new conditions, and have just been sitting around in my closet! Please give them new and better owners sad
Please go to my livejournal to view all items!

Sunday night I went out to see Eisley, and a few other bands I hadn't heard of played as well. The Envy Corps, The Myriad and Verdera. I had so hoped that Eisley would play 'Vintage People', but I settled for 'Combinations'.
I had a good time, but I still need to upload/resize/fix all the pictures I took. My camera doesn't really like to take indoor, low lighted photos without the flash... but the flash blinds the people on stage and turns them white! So I try not to use it if possible, or cover it if I have to use the flash. I also have some videos too, but I can't upload much stuff on my slow internet T__T You will just have to wait until I get over to faster internet sometime this week.

due for a change?

alberto marsicano - ether
hungry for salmon!

This layout is absurdly cute for what I usually make sad
I ordered a few items from Metamorphose, and they arrived sooner than I thought! Skirt and a handbag. The bloomers I have had for quite some time now in hopes to make a Polka of Eternal Sonata costume, but the bloomers ended up being too short and the ribbons aren't dark enough to match, so I'll have to start from scratch on that costume. I decided to get the matching skirt for every day type of wear. The handbag is actually just NOT my style at all, so I have put that up for sale.

Edit: Concert update!
Eisley April 20, Chapel Hill NC

parading through the mud

mucc - sorwasure
bored

The past few weeks have been raining, and we do need it, but the Renaissance Faire started a week ago. We managed to go on a day that it didn't rain, but all the previous rain had just turned the fair grounds into muck. It was cold and soggy... I made a gorgeous blue dress with a front button up panel and quarter length sleeves {which I don't have a good picture of yet, sorry}, but I was so cold! Weatherman said 63F and it turned out to be 48F plain To make the experience even more of a drag, hot cocoa was $2... for a very small cup.... The vendors and events were the same as last year and I found myself questioning why we went at all. I did purchase a very pretty mask though.

I had planned to at least volunteer so I had a reason to be there, since it is the same every year... but I didn't remember to inquire about it until a week before the Faire started. I definitely like overnight events more, with wars, yummy food and campfires!

On a side note, I think I am going to open up a new mp3 rotation since Radio Junkee doesn't really work anymore {my file host just... disappeared }.
